Job Description:

EverWatch Corporation is in search of a Payroll Manager in Reston, VA. The Payroll Manager will:

  • Manage and provide assistance to payroll specialists with semi-monthly payroll processing for multiple companies
  • Review semi-monthly payroll calculations to ensure accuracy and provide payroll to management for final review
  • Assist payroll specialist with recording semi-monthly payroll related general ledger entries in accounting system and submitting entries to Controller for review
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of payroll related information
  • Ensure proper payroll related tax registrations are complete
  • Support HR and Management with Payroll related reporting
  • Assist with financial and payroll related Audits
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude when working with EverWatch employees
  • Support HR and Management with Payroll related reporting
  • Assist with financial and payroll related Audits

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field with 5+ years of Payroll Manager Experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Government Contract Accounting, experience with Paylocity and CostPoint, Profession Certification (CPP, CPM) is a plus
  • Skilled in math application, detailed oriented, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well the ability to work well with payroll, accounting and HR team
