Job Description:

Ian, Evan & Alexander Corporation (IEA) is in search of a Web Developer to help support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence OUSD(I) in Arlington, VA.

Tasks include:

  • Provide development support to improve and maintain the BIRD database and related data input applications, query applications, access applications, and web portal interface.
  • Provide System Administration to production servers as needed.
  • Provide analytic support, documentation, training, and security.
  • Provide support necessary to redesign and maintain the BIRD web portal on both the L2 and L3 networks to include document postings, data loads, web-based analysis applications/tools, trackers, updated training manuals, user access roles maintenance, and full operation and functionality of all links.
  • Maintain the current Congressional Justification Book (CJB) production application, recommend and implement improvements.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5 years of demonstrated web development experience is required, 10 years is preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline is highly desired
  • Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies is required
  • Experience with Hibernate is desired
  • Must demonstrate a solid grasp of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience developing single-page JavaScript applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of server operating systems and their maintenance and security is required
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
