Job Description:

Ian, Evan & Alexander Corporation (IEA) is in search of an Intelligence Operations Staff/Action Officer- USCYBERCOM to join our team in Arlington, VA. CYBERCOM Intelligence Operations Staff/Action Officer will be responsible for the following:

Assistant and advisor to the Secretary of Defense for matters related to intelligence, counterintelligence, sensitive activities, intelligence related matters, and security. In this capacity, the USD(I) provides overall policy and program guidance for the Department of Defense (DOD) intelligence, counterintelligence, security and intelligence warfighter support activities. The USD(I) is supported by four Deputy Directors for Intelligence (DDI). This requirement is located within the Warfighter Support Directorate, DDI (Warfighter Support).

Technical analysis and staff support are needed to support DDI Warfighter Support in its oversight of Combat Support Agency intelligence support to the Combatant Command (CCMD) Joint Intelligence Operation Centers (JIOC), GEF, Special Technical Operations, and JSCP directed planning efforts, and develop policy and directives pertaining to all intelligence disciplines (CI, Defense HUMINT, MASINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, COMINT). The Intelligence Planning effort synchronizes and integrates defense and national intelligence community efforts in support of designated CCMD top priority plans. Support also addresses the Department's effort to counter the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) problem. Support is needed in providing daily Operational and Intelligence (O&I) updates to OUSD(I) senior leadership. Administrative assistance is needed to provide the full spectrum of day-to-day office operations and information security management.

Experience and Skills:

  • BA/BS required, Masters preferred
  • 15years experience as a DoD or military intelligence professional
  • Recent (within the past 5 years) relevant experience as an action officer on the Joint Staff, OSD, Service, CSA, Service Intelligence Center or CCMD Staffs working intelligence related issues.
  • Recent (within the past 10 years) relevant experience indicating knowledge of, or participation in, the planning and execution of military operations.
  • Recent (within the past 10 years) relevant experience working intelligence issues for USCYBERCOM
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
