Ian, Evan & Alexander currently seeks a JTIP Program & Budget Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC!


The Program Analyst will provide technical and subject matter expertise to the RMP Section and will liaise with the International Programs (IP) section.


Program Budget Support

  • Provide full range of budget development to include formulation, justification, execution and presentation.
  • Plans, organizes, coordinates, and carries out year-by-year and multiyear budget support for appropriations specific to J/TIP.
  • Works alongside J/TIP leadership to support Congressional budget cycle planning including budget requests, justifications and reporting.
  • Executes D&CP operating expenses including travel funds, procurement, acquisitions, contract request, and other reimbursements.
  • Regularly monitors and reports on the status of all funds.
  • Actively pursues and maintains effective relationship with Department colleagues from F, INL, BP, and USAID and others as needed.
  • Prepare specific budget reports and track foreign assistance and bureau managed funds.
  • Assures that all budget and program requirements are met and that funds are properly allocated.
  • Respond to and provide responses to taskers from the Senior Coordinator and Deputy Senior Coordinator as needed.


  • Provide support to RMP’s COR or GTM on preparing budget related contract items to include:

Market research

  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Keeping records of funds and coordinating with budget analyst and formulator to track draw down
  • Preparing and submitting procurement requests across all budget and procurement systems.


  • Support RMP Deputy Senior Coordinator and staff on designated administrative actions related to D&CP funds.
  • Draft and update Standard Operations Procedures for RMP related to budget, operations, administration and management.
  • Track all financial record keeping documentation and decision documents.


Experience and Skills:


  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Three to five years of professional work experience in executive /administrative operations.
  • A Bachelors and/or Associates degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related field.
  • Demonstrated prior knowledge of U.S. government contracts, budget, or grants processes
  • Demonstrated excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in excel
  • Demonstrated experience with DOS core accounting systems or other financial systems for budget purposes
