Provides support for the CSO HR team within the Executive Office by performing program analyst and administrative support functions.
Assists bureau program offices in the recruitment, selection, and on-boarding of unpaid interns by tracking the status of security clearances for both primary and alternate candidates.
Serves as the CSO bureau’s point of contact for Pathways IEP and ITEP students, which includes tracking students’ academic progress and hours worked and working with management to ensure that conversions are handled efficiently when the conversion has been approved by the CSO Front Office.
Tracks incoming staff members by ensuring that new staff members receive desk assignments, expeditious IT services, a sponsor, and proper orientation to the CSO bureau. Ensures that the appropriate OMS is informed of all GS and FS arrivals so that TATEL reporting will be accurate.
Tracks departing staff members to ensure that they complete CSO Out-Processing documents and return all electronic equipment before departure. Ensures that the respective OMS is informed of the departure date of all GS and FS staff who have TATEL accounts.
Coordinates the CSO Awards Program by ensuring that nomination packages are reviewed and processed by the Awards Committee members and award certificates are properly prepared. Inputs awards into the GEMS system and handles all logistical arrangements for the Awards ceremony.
Serves as the CSO bureau’s Training Officer, which involves expeditious processing of approved training requests.
Manages the bureau’s telework program by ensuring that employees submit telework agreements if they desire to invoke situational telework.
Assists other members of the CSO EX HR team in answering employees’ leave and benefits inquiries, including requests for leave without pay (LWOP) and Workmen’s Compensation issues.
Assists with the input of GEMS actions.
Provides technical review of ePerformance documents.
Organize and maintain HR filing system on Sharepoint.
Follow up administrative requests, and other clerical functions.
Experience working in a customer service environment providing technical support is desired.
The incumbent must possess highly developed written and oral communication skills.
Ability to learn and understand the views of CSO’s leadership to enable the incumbent to perform duties such as making associated decisions and preparing correspondence for those officials.
Ability to research and learn HR rules and procedures to provide assistance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR topics.
Knowledge of and ability to use the most current Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Share Point and Outlook.
The contractor personnel performing under this task shall possess a Secret security clearance.
