Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities

 

Installation, upgrades, patches, configuration, administration, and support of all Share Point Services

SharePoint application deployments and administration in accordance with Bureau and Department policies

Manage user permissions

Design and develop custom web parts, reports, and dashboards for Bureau SharePoint sites

Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance

Provide production deployment support

Troubleshoot SharePoint issues

Optimize SharePoint content for indexing and searching

Assist in defining resources and schedules for project implementation and completion

Assist in creating strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning

Assist in describing, planning, and scheduling project deliverables, goals, milestones

Identify and resolve project issues keeping Division Director apprised

Draft and maintain technical and project documentation

Create a testing environment

Follow Local and Enterprise-wide Change Control policies and procedures

Site Collector (Capturing Web Analytics)

Developing/Creating/Producing Management Reports

Facilitate testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance

Demonstrate the ability to interact with senior management in order to interpret and discuss results and recommend future actions.

Demonstrate strong communications, presentation, and customer service skills and abilities

Perform other administrative duties as assigned (related to the above responsibilities, i.e., SharePoint site/page updating and maintenance: and data compilation and analysis)

Assist in managing efforts in researching, coordinating, developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving the bureau's knowledge management program

Use different tools and interfaces in in support of efforts to increase knowledge sharing, e.g., knowledge discovery/capture/delivery, communities of practice, wikis, business intelligence, and taxonomy/ontology design, social capital and associated processes

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Minimum Qualifications

Information Systems/Technology Management or related field, or equivalent work experience (1 -3 years of SharePoint Services/Portal administration and maintenance)

Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 expertise

Experience with SharePoint 2007 to 2010 data migration

Experience with developing workflows and info-processing forms

Knowledge of IIS and Windows Server

Promoting knowledge sharing through its operational business processes, strengthening links between knowledge sharing and information systems

Experience training and demonstrating SharePoint Services helpful

Active Secret security clearance
