Job Description:

IEA Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) for our Ashburn, VA location. This position requires interfacing with the Defense Security Service (DSS), Department of State (DOS), and Intelligence Community program offices on a regular basis. The candidate who fills this position will act as a primary liaison with management and customers regarding security issues to ensure compliance of applicable government regulations.

•Candidate will work closely with various Government Agencies and Program Offices to submit collateral and SCI access nominations, process personnel paperwork, administer indoctrinations and debriefs, and security education and training

•Manage document control, visit requests, physical security

•Prepare, track, and monitor classified contracts and DD-254s, annual refresher training, and Insider Threat training

•Maintain comprehensive security Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) outlining security policies and guidance

•Participate in the implementation of the company Insider Threat Program

Experience and Skills:

FSO certification

•JPAS training certificate

•Experience as a security professional with at least 5 years as an FSO supporting Department of Defense

•Thorough knowledge of the government clearance process and of the Joint Personnel Adjudication System

•Experience and ability to effectively learn new databases

•Must have knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and all other applicable sponsor government directives

•Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•Excellent organization and communication skills with a strong customer service focus

•Ability to manage complex situations, along with a demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while still meeting deadlines

•Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility
