Ian, Evan & Alexander Corporation (IEA) is seeking a Human Resources Program Analyst in Arlington, VA. This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of 3 months.
The position requirements, duties, and responsibilities are as follows:
Position will encompass technical administrative support to the Human Resources office.
Attend and participate in meetings to relay and receive information and/or documentation. Assist in the preparation of briefing slides to provide information and updates as required. Review and update SharePoint and websites, keeping HR Program Manager informed of relevant information posted and received.
Assist in the design and development of training, workshops, and communication learning interventions that will educate and train the workforce. Assist in determining required current and sustainment training courses for workforce by assisting in the development of training plans and strategies. Facilitate mini-training sessions and/or provide one-on-one support, assist in the development of course material, course scheduling and logistics.
Assist in provided desk-side support to workforce on operating the Executive Performance and Appraisal Tool (EPAT) and the -----------Performance Appraisal Application Tool (PAA).
Review policy and volume documents and provide comments, recommendations, and guidance as requested. Assist with the development of written internal Standard Operating Procedures, Tech Memos, and written regulatory guidance in accordance with implementing policies and DCIPS volumes and other regulatory guidance.
Provide support in the planning, execution, and effectiveness of the compensation and pay pool processes to include operation of the Compensation Workbench (CWB), DCIPS Payout Analysis Tool (DPAT), and Excel spreadsheets.
Assist with communication information and materials for workforce by developing and composing written communication guidance and resource materials. Draft routine correspondence such as pay memos and requests for leave accrual rate credit.
Assist with HR actions including reviewing duties and KSAs or equivalent vacancies. Utilize personnel database to enter and/or track information, and extract data to generate reports for statistical purposes. Maintain and update status reports for HR actions.
Prepare and review correspondence and respond to customer inquiries. Provide advice, guidance and assistance to managers, supervisors, and civilian employees relative to the resolution of day to day HR activities (benefits, status of staffing, classification, recruiting actions, etc.)
Demonstrated current knowledge of DCIPS design and fundamentals consisting of performance management, performance appraisal tools, and pay for performance compensation tool.
System experience with: Microsoft SharePoint, Office Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Five (5) years demonstrated administrative experience with at least of two of those years in an HR environment is required. In addition, the candidate must possess:
- Expert Proficiency Level with: Microsoft SharePoint, Office Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word is required.
- 2 years demonstrated experience performing data entry into the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) or other personnel system is required.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- 2 years demonstrated experience working DCIPS performance management.
- Bachelor’s Degree
