Ian, Evan & Alexander Corporation (IEA) is in search of a Program Protection Analyst in Arlington, VA. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Military with a background in security or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience with Personnel Security program implementation and management.
  • Experience including implementing the SCI security clearance program and maintain current and completed clearance for assigned personnel
  • Experience in managing, assessing and conducting Special Security Office self-inspections and able to present detailed and comprehensive reports with follow-up to ensure complete and quality discrepancies resolutions improve quality, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Experience in completing and managing the day to day operational duties within the Special Security Office in support of all sensitive compartmented information-associated security programs and measures.
  • Experience in research and analysis reports on physical, information, computer, procedures and practices that are necessary to accomplish intelligence functions in support of programs essential to daily operations, training and readiness missions.
  • Experience in implementing policies and procedures required to manage sensitive compartmented information programs and to protect sensitive compartmented information resources
  • Experience in interpreting, analyzing and applying Presidential Executive Orders, Intelligence Community Directives, Defense Intelligence Agency Manuals, DoD Manuals and local Operating Instructions.
  • Knowledge and functional experience with:
    • JPAS
    • DCII
    • Scatter Castles
    • Case Management
    • Defense Ready
    • Research and development of Classification Guides
    • Foreign Visit System
    • Data Spills
  • Knowledge of the governing directives and the application of directive language to practical situations
  • Knowledge of multiple DoD and services security references, regulations, and instructions pertaining to personnel security, especially the DoD 5200 & 5202.07 Vol 2., NISPOM and working in a multi discipline security SSO security office.
  • Competent and knowledgeable as a technical specialist on sensitive information security matters, as well as other areas of classified security and classification guidance.
  • Must be knowledgeable on how to maintain currency on a variety of different security program inter-relationships, requirements, regulations and guidance in order to protect sensitive compartmented information facilities and materials from espionage, sabotage, and destruction.
  • Ability to implement and manage an OSD Insider Threat Program
  • Capable of Implementing policies and procedures for accomplishment of sensitive information protection and security.
  • Must have the ability to be crossed trained in other security disciplines as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to interface with senior level management

Required Education and Certification:

  • Minimum of Associates degree from an accredited university
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
