Job Description:

Ian, Evan and Alexander Corporation (IEA) is in search of a HUMINT Subject Matter Expert III in Arlington, VA.


  • Provide senior level support on a wide range of topics and issues relating to Defense Human Intelligence (HUMINT).
  • Have in-depth, senior level understanding of the Defense and National HUMINT enterprise and its functions, activities, policies, processes, and products.
  • Provide senior subject matter expert level support to the Director of Defense for Intelligence and Security on the development of and interpretation of DoD HUMINT policies.
  • Provide senior subject matter expertise to support operational coordination actions, defense cover issues, training issues, oversight issues and resource management issues.
  • Coordinate with other members of the OUSDI staff, the Defense HUMINT executors, and other members of the U.S. intelligence community.

Experience and Skills:

  • 10 years of Defense HUMINT Enterprise experience with leadership experience at both the operational and staff levels including experience working with Service, Special Operations and Combatant Command organizations.
  • Experience developing, executing and sustaining HUMINT operations, policies, and strategies.
  • Experience in providing support to budget and resource management processes across diverse HUMINT organizations.
  • Experience in developing performance measures within the HUMINT discipline.
  • Field experience as a controlled or overt HUMINT collector using sensitive tradecraft and cover mechanisms.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
